Today, we’re going to explore a topic that resonates with many of us who are on a path of healing and recovery—Venus trine Chiron—and how this astrological aspect offers an invitation to heal our hearts and reclaim our capacity to love and be loved.

Venus represents love, relationships, and self-worth, while Chiron symbolizes our deepest wounds and the potential for healing those wounds. When these two energies align in a harmonious trine, it’s like the universe is opening a door for us to heal the parts of ourselves that have been hurt in matters of the heart, allowing us to move forward with a greater sense of peace and acceptance.

For those of us in recovery, this energy can bring to light the wounds we’ve carried—whether from past relationships, our struggles with self-worth, or feelings of being unlovable. Venus trine Chiron reminds us that these wounds are not the end of our story; they are part of our journey toward deeper self-acceptance and connection with others. This aspect invites us to open up to healing in a way that honors both our vulnerabilities and our strengths.

Venus trine Chiron can stir up memories of past hurts, especially in relationships where we might have felt unseen, unloved, or unworthy. It’s not unusual during this time to revisit old wounds, but rather than being a source of pain, this aspect encourages us to find healing through self-compassion and understanding.

Think about how your relationships—both with yourself and others—have played a role in your recovery. What old stories have you carried about your worthiness to be loved or your ability to love? Are there places in your heart that still feel tender, where healing has yet to fully occur? These are the kinds of reflections that Venus trine Chiron invites us to explore.

Just as recovery is a process of revisiting old patterns in order to heal, Venus trine Chiron encourages us to reflect on the stories we’ve told ourselves about love and worthiness. It’s an opportunity to reframe those stories, to see the growth we’ve made, and to allow ourselves to heal deeply.

As we continue, I’d like to introduce some optional prompts for reflection and sharing. These are intended to help guide your thoughts, but as always, feel free to share whatever is on your heart today.

  1. Where in your life have you felt like you’ve been wounded in love or self-worth?
  2. How have these wounds influenced your recovery journey, and what healing has already taken place?
  3. What parts of your heart still feel tender, and how might you invite more love and healing into those areas?

I’d like to share a personal story about how the energy of Venus trine Chiron has impacted me on my own healing journey. There was a time when I struggled deeply with feelings of unworthiness in my relationships. I had been hurt in the past, and those wounds made it difficult for me to open up fully in new relationships. I was afraid of being vulnerable because I didn’t want to get hurt again.

During a previous Venus trine Chiron transit, I remember feeling this intense pull to look at those wounds more closely. It wasn’t easy—I had to revisit painful memories and confront the parts of myself that still felt broken. But as I allowed myself to reflect, I also began to see how much I had grown. The wounds that once felt so raw and painful had started to heal, and I realized that I was ready to open my heart again, but this time with a deeper sense of self-worth and self-compassion.

It wasn’t a quick fix, and healing rarely is. But Venus trine Chiron helped me to see that my wounds didn’t define me; they were simply a part of my journey. Through this healing, I became more open to love—both for myself and others—and that has been one of the most powerful parts of my recovery journey.

As we sit together in this space, I encourage you to think about the places in your heart where healing is still needed. Venus trine Chiron offers us an opportunity to reflect on those tender spots, to acknowledge the pain that’s still there, and to allow love and compassion to flow into those spaces.

What would it look like for you to open your heart to healing? Where have you been holding onto old hurts, and how can you release them with grace and self-compassion? These are the questions Venus trine Chiron asks of us, and as we reflect on them, we also open the door to greater healing and love in our lives.

As we move forward, I encourage you to carry the energy of this Venus trine Chiron with you. Continue to reflect on how you can invite more love, healing, and self-compassion into your life. Where can you soften? Where can you allow love to heal the wounds of the past? And how can you honor your journey of recovery by embracing the love that is available to you now?
